How to Size a Lifting Belt Properly

Measure at the navel, standing relaxed, with a soft tape. Do not use your trouser size — a belt sits higher on the torso and almost always reads five to ten centimetres larger.

If you land between two sizes, take the larger one. A lever gives you three notches of adjustment either way, and a belt that is slightly loose can be tightened; one that is too small is a return.
